Rutledge Appointed to Chair Committee of Local Chapter of ASA

June 19, 2009: Mark P. Rutledge, ASA, Director of Valuation Services at Smith & Howard has been appointed chairperson of the Personal Property Committee of the Atlanta Chapter of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) for the second consecutive year.

Mark is an active member of the ASA and a past President of the organization.  His involvement in the local chapter allows for networking opportunities and the ability to stay abreast of the many changes in the field of valuation.

He currently is mentoring an aspiring valuation professional from India. When asked about his mentoring role, Rutledge said, “I believe in servant leadership and enjoy helping people succeed in business and life”.
